System Curve

The system H-Q curve is essentially a parabolic curve representing the relation between the Head HA required to handle the respective rate of Flow within a pipe system.

It is mainly characterised by the Static Head Difference HGeo between the liquid levels at the suction and discharge tanks as well as the friction losses Hf through the entire system of liquid flow.
